For the Rights-Centric Education logo, we will be featuring the word Education in multiple languages, with an explicit effort to include words and concepts outside the colonial view of education (which is what took rights-violating practices of education around the world, to, you know, educate the savages..)

While we are open to adding words from any language, we do have a Wishlist:
- Polish (in memory of Janusz Korczak)
- Gangulu (in recognition of Lilla Watson)
Pronunciation guide
We have often received anglicised versions of the name as a guide to pronunciation, but would prefer to either display in IPA notation and/or link to an audio recording
Notes
- ↑ Indonesia
- ↑ Recognising that the word "school" is of Greek origin; This was offered by a Greek speaker from Cyprus; the words most commonly used are connected to traditional schooling and being taught in a traditional sense (εκπαίδευση) whereas παιδεία which has a wider meaning to include character, as well as skills and all these learned through a variety of ways, formal tutoring as well as learning through experiences, society, etc
- ↑ Recognising the first state sponsored Democratic School, in Hadera
- ↑ 4.0 4.1 4.2 4.3 India
- ↑ South Africa
- ↑ New Zealand
- ↑ The concept of ako describes a teaching and learning relationship, where the educator is also learning from the student and where educators’ practices are informed by the latest research and are both deliberate and reflective. Ako is grounded in the principle of reciprocity and also recognises that the learner and whānau cannot be separated. rangatiratanga was also offered , which translates as self-determination, in preference over the typical translation of mātaranga, where Mātaranga Māori is "our knowledge, or our ways of knowing, doing and being"
- ↑ Note from Jerry Mintz: This is the word for "school", I do not know if there is a separate word for "education"; see story of how Jerry helped setup a school that helped preserve the Mohawk language
- ↑ Nepal
- ↑ Portugal
- ↑ Brazil
- ↑ yachachiy was also offered, we are uncertain which is more suitable
- ↑ Andes, including modern day Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru
- ↑ 14.0 14.1 14.2 Note from Sifaan: Of course I want the logo to include the words for education from my country, Sri Lanka, and given how much language barriers have contributed to conflict here, I want to recognise as many of our languages as I can, even if they are minor (the Malay community is 0.2% of our population)
- ↑ Spain
- ↑ Latin America
- ↑ Swedish. ut is "outside" and bildning is "grasping" - so grasping something that is outside you
- ↑ Recognising the work on Children's Parliaments by Joseph Rathinam in Chennai, India

- ↑ Turkey
- ↑ Ukraine
