These are the proposed articles in the Pledge for Rights-Centric Education relating to Article 8 "The Right to an Identity"
- Recognizing that Identity is more than nationality, name, and family relations, commit to
- support the Child’s exploration and positive acceptance of their Identity in terms of neurodiversity, religion, dietary preferences, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other aspect of identity the Child finds relevant; and
- protect the child from Structural Pressures, Coercions, or Manipulations that would compel them to disguise, mask, foreclose or betray some aspect/s of their identity.
